With three scenic walking paths, hand-carved granite trail markers, and breathtaking views of horses, cattle, hills, and creek beds, this trail invites you to pause, reflect and reconnect with what matters most.
More than just a walk in the countryside, this Grace Trail was thoughtfully designed to fit the rhythm and spirit of its surroundings. It offers visitors the chance to explore nature, breathe deeply, and ask the powerful GRACE questions in a setting defined by stillness, natural connection, and the wisdom of the land.

Built with Care, Designed for Reflection
During the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, Lynda and Bill Schumann, proprietors of Green Trees Farm, felt called to create something meaningful on the land their family has nurtured for over 40 years. With the support of friends, volunteers, and local partners, they brought not one but three Grace Trail paths to life.
Each path was carefully mapped to highlight the farm’s natural beauty, from wooded areas to open pastures, quiet creekbeds, and riding arenas. Visitors can choose ¼-mile, ½-mile, or 1-mile loops and experience the land at their own pace.
Granite-carved GRACE markers offer moments for reflection, while a hand-painted welcome map on the barn helps guide each journey. Events like a Blessing of the Trail, a veterans’ tree planting, and a Texas-style celebration reflect the shared spirit behind this trail’s creation.
